Abstract:
O artigo procura resgatar as concepções a cerca da natureza encontradas na obra de Karl Marx e
Friederich Engels. Pretendo resenhar e discutir as obras de Karl Marx como “Formações Econômicas Pré-
Capitalistas” (1857-8) e “Crítica ao Programa de Gotha” (1875) e de Engels “Sobre o Papel do Trabalho na
Transformação do Macaco em Homem” (1876). O objetivo é o de investigar quais os significados emitidos pelos
autores quando tratam sobre a natureza nas obras acima citadas, entendendo que esta aproximação teórica,
contribui com o processo de questionamento à Educação Ambiental contemplativa e preservacionista e, por
outro lado, auxilia com a construção da proposta de Educação Ambiental transformadora e popular.
The article looks for bring to light the conceptions about the nature found in the Karl Marx and
Friederich Engels work. I intend to review and to discuss the Karl Marx works as a “Precapitalist Economic
Formations” (1875-8) and “Gotha´s Program Criticism”(1875) and Engels’ “About the role of the work in the
Monkey to Man transformation “(1876). The aim is to investigate what are the meanings given off by the authors
when treating about the nature in the works quoted above, understanding that this theoretical approach, have a
hand in the action of the question about the conservationist and contemplative Environmental Education and, on
the other hand, it helps with the construction of the proposal of the Environmental Education that has the
characteristic of the transformation and it is popular.
