Abstract:
O presente estudo trata a produção científica da Revista Informação & Sociedade: Estudos
da Universidade Federal da Paraíba. Delimitou-se para a pesquisa o período dos 22 anos de
percurso, totalizando 411 artigos selecionados. O estudo teve por objetivo verificar o
enfoque temático através da frequência das palavras-chave, investigar o gênero e a filiação
dos autores com mais publicações; quantificar os artigos quanto à autoria. Como
procedimento metodológico foi empregado a bibliometria e os resultados foram analisados
de forma quantitativa sob um viés qualitativo. Na análise e discussão dos resultados
verificou-se que o gênero feminino predomina as publicações na revista e as autorias
múltiplas totalizaram 54,5% dos artigos. Entre os principais resultados, verificou-se que entre
as instituições salienta-se a UFPB como destaque e em relação às palavras-chave apontase
Informação e Ciência da Informação entre as mais frequentes.
This study addresses the Scientific Production Information & Society: Studies of the Federal
University of Paraíba. The time delimeted of 22 existence years the journal, totaling 411
articles selected. The study aimed to verify the thematic focus through the frequency of
keywords, investigating gender and affiliation of authors with more publications; quantify the
articles as to authorship. In the metodology was used bibliometrics and the results were
analyzed quantitatively under a qualitative bias. In the analysis and discussion of the results
it was found that females predominate in journal publications and multiple authorships totaled
54.5% of articles. Among the main results, it was found that among the institutions highlight
the UFPB as highlight and in relation to the keywords pointing to Information and Information
Science among the most frequent.
