Abstract:
A partir da ideia da produção científica como ato político, o presente texto
visa demonstrar como a história foi e é estruturada pelas subjetividades dos/
as historiadores/as, tornando esta disciplina um importante instrumento
pedagógico na formação de sujeitos de gênero e sexuais normais.
Problematizando as formas como categorias universais de homem e mulher,
heterossexual e homossexualidade constroem o discurso histórico, demonstrar-
se-á, por meio do estudo de caso da tumba de Niankhkhnum e Khnumhoteo,
possíveis maneiras de romper com uma leitura normatizadora do passado.
Based on the idea of scientific production as a political act, this paper aims
to establish haw history was and is strictures by the historians’ subjectivities,
making this discipline an important educational tool in the shaping of gender
and sexual subjects. Discussing the ways that universal categories of male and
female, heterosexual and homosexual build the historical discourse, we will
demonstrate, through a case study of Niankhkhnum and Khnumhotep’s tomb,
possible ways to deconstruct a normative reading of the past.
