Abstract:
Estudo da representação de figuras históricas internacionais
e nacionais na poesia de três periódicos do Rio Grande do Sul do século
XIX: O Guaíba, Revista Mensal da Sociedade Partenon Literário e Corimbo.
Em geral, observa-se o elogio das personalidades presentes nos poemas,
o que evidencia a intenção glorificadora, caminho comumente trilhado
pela literatura da época.
A study of the representation of international and
national historic figures on the poetry of three journals from Rio
Grande do Sul in the 19th century: O Guaiba, Revista Mensal da
Sociedade Partenon Literário and Corimbo. Generally, we can observe
the compliment of the present authorities in the poems, which shows
the glorifying intention, a commonly trodden path by the literature of
the time.
