Abstract:
Com os avanços tecnológicos a possibilidade de acessar a toda informação disponibilizada em rede contribuiu para que a informação cientifica possa estar ao alcance de todos. A biblioteca universitária é o ambiente fundamental e exerce o papel de disseminação de informação científica, com os novos meios tecnológicos modifica-se a forma de acessar a informação passando do meio impresso tradicional para o digital. Proporcionando a comunicação científica entre pesquisadores de áreas afins. O Portal da CAPES frente a tais mudanças é criado com o objetivo de disponibilizar informação e dissemina-las com democratização tornando possível estar ao alcance de toda a comunidade cientifica. O presente trabalho tevepor objetivo principal investigar o acesso ao Portal de Periódicos da CAPES nas universidades federais do Rio Grande do Sul a partir do GeoCapes. Com o caráter qualitativo/quantitativo, utilizando o GeoCapes como fornecedor dos dados para descrição sendo organizado em uma planilha de Excel e assim compreender o que ocorreu. O período analisado foi o ano de 2001 até 2014 utilizando os dados de acesso total por universidade. Apresenta na literatura o papel da biblioteca universitária com a disseminação da informação, o modo de acesso a informação científica e a comunicação científica, o Portal da CAPES e seus objetivos e o GeoCapes. As universidades envolvidas neste trabalho foram UNIPAMPA, UFPEL, UFCSPA, UFRGS, FURG e UFSM analisando seu número de acessos do ano 2001 a 2014. A universidade que se destacou com o maior número de acesso é a UFRGS em que demonstra constante crescimento e que no ano de 2014 obteve 4.315.685 no total. A UFSM ocupa segundo lugar com relação ao crescimento, com destaque para o ano de 2013 com 1.192.198 na totalidade de acessos. Em terceiro momento a UFPEL apresentando crescimento e seu destaque para o ano de 2013 totalizando 634.024 acessos. A FURG em 2014 apresenta 502.227 acessos sendo destaque dentre todos os crescimentos. A UFCSPA apresentou crescimento como as demais destacando-se no ano de 2005 totalizando 189.526 e a UNIPAMPA que diferenciando-se das demais pois apresenta dados a partir do ano de 2010 com o melhor desempenho em acesso no ano de 2014 com 124.604 acessos. Todas universidades apresentaram crescimento em relação ao acesso, dando destaques para alguns anos. Contudo o presente trabalho investigou o acesso ao Portal da CAPES pelas universidades federais e a forma como ocorreu demonstrando o crescimento entre os períodos, e assim possa ser uma forma de contribuição para estudos da área e respectivas pesquisas sobre acesso do Portal da CAPES.
With the technological advances, the possibility of accessing all the information made available on the network has contributed to making the scientific information available to all. The university library is the fundamental environment and plays the role of dissemination of scientific information, with the new technological means, the way of accessing information from the traditional print medium to digital is modified. Providing scientific communication among researchers in related fields. The CAPES Portal in the face of such changes is created with the objective of providing information and disseminating them with democratization making it possible to be within the reach of the entire scientific community. The main objective of this work was to investigate the access to the Portalof Periodicals of CAPES in the federal universities of Rio Grande do Sul from GeoCapes. With the qualitative / quantitative character, using GeoCapes as data provider for description being organized in an Excel spreadsheet and thus understanding what happened. The period analyzed was the year 2001 to 2014, using the total access data per university. It presents in the literature the role of the university library with the dissemination of information, the way of access to scientific information and scientific communication, the CAPES Portal and its objectives and GeoCapes. The universities involved in this work were UNIPAMPA, UFPEL, UFCSPA, UFRGS, FURG and UFSM analyzing their number of accesses from 2001 to 2014. The university that stood out with the greatest number of access is UFRGS in which it shows constant growth and in the Year of 2014 obtained 4,315,685 in total. The UFSM occupies second place in relation to the growth, with highlight for the year of 2013 with 1,192,198 in total accesses. In the third moment UFPEL presenting growth and its highlight for the year of 2013 totaling 634,024 accesses. The FURG in 2014 has 502,227 accesses and stands out among all growths. The UFCSPA showed growth as the others stood out in the year 2005 totaling 189,526 and UNIPAMPA, which differentiates itself from the others, since it presents data from the year 2010 with the best access performance in 2014 with 124,604 accesses. All universities showed growth in access, giving highlights for some years. However, the present work investigated the access to the CAPES Portal by federal universities and how it occurred showing the growth between the periods, and thus could be a form of contribution to studies of the area and respective research on access of the CAPES Portal.
