Abstract:
O presente trabalho visa pesquisar a biblioterapia como área de atuação do profissional bibliotecário brasileiro, identificando na literatura científica brasileira(teses e dissertações) osenfoquesdadosà biblioterapia,sob o viés da Biblioteconomia e da Ciência da Informação, verificando a existência da disciplina de Biblioterapia nos cursos de Biblioteconomia do Brasil.A pesquisa ocorreu em dois momentos: primeiro momento, foram analisados os documentos (teses e dissertações) recuperados na busca da base de dados BDTD/IBICT com o tema biblioterapia. Em segundo momento, respondendo o último objetivo específico,realizou-se um levantamento sobre as universidades brasileiras que possuem o curso de Biblioteconomia e entre essas,quantas oferecem a disciplina de biblioterapia como opção nos QSL dos cursos. Foram encontradas entre teses e dissertações sete documentos, abrangendo as áreas de Biblioteconomia, Ciência da Informação e Gestão da Informação. Observou-se ao longo das pesquisas que não existe uma única área de conhecimento responsável pela biblioterapia, pois a mesma trata-se de uma atividade multidisciplinar,na qual profissionais de diferentes campos de atuação podem trabalhar em conjunto ou individualmente. E é nesse momento que o bibliotecário surge como um forte aliado às atividades biblioterapêuticas,devido a sua facilidade de leitura e interpretação, agindo assim como um facilitador e mediador da informação.No levantamento realizado para identificar as universidades, encontrou-se trinta e seis instituições entre pública e privada que possuem o curso de Bacharel em Biblioteconomia no Brasil, mas somente uma delas disponibiliza a matéria de biblioterapia como uma opção de agregar conhecimentos aos discentes interessados nesse campo de atuação.
The present work aims to investigate the bibliotherapy as an area of activity of the Brazilian professional librarian, identifying in the Brazilian scientific literature (theses and dissertations) the approaches given to the bibliotherapy, under the bias of Librarianship and Information Science, verifying the existence of the discipline of Biblioterapia in the courses of Librarianship of Brazil. The research took place in two moments: first, the documents (theses and dissertations) retrieved in the search of the database BDTD / IBICT with the theme biblioterapia were analyzed. Secondly, responding to the last specific objective, a survey was carried out on the Brazilian universities that hold the Biblioteconomy course and among them, how many offer the discipline of bibliotherapy as an option in the QSL of the courses. Theses and dissertations were found among seven documents, covering the areas of Librarianship, Information Science and Information Management. It has been observed throughout the researches that there is not a single area of knowledge responsible for bibliotherapy, since it is a multidisciplinary activity, in which professionals from different fields of action can work together or individually. And it is at this moment that the librarian emerges as a strong allied to the biblio pharmaceutical activities, due to its ease of reading and interpretation, thus acting as a facilitator and mediator of information. In the survey conducted to identify the universities, thirty-six public and private institutions that hold a Bachelor's degree in Library Science in Brazil were found, but only one of them provides the subject of bibliotherapy as an option to add knowledge to the students interested in this field of action.
