Abstract:
Este trabalho estuda as iniciativas de gestão de dados em âmbito mundial. Tem como objetivo geral a investigação das iniciativas de gestão de dados científicos pelas agências dos países que mais investem em pesquisas no mundo, e como objetivos específicos, a identificação dos países e agências que mais investem financeiramente em atividades de pesquisa, e a sistematização de informações nesse cenário.A pesquisa se caracteriza como descritiva e exploratória onde o caráter descritivo foi realizado na etapa de revisão de literatura, e o exploratório com a identificação das ações de compartilhamento de dados nas agências internacionais.A pesquisa analisou seis quadros com as principais agências financiadoras de cada país e obteve como resultado que há bastante envolvimento dos países com a gestão de dados científicos e esses possuem políticas avançadas de compartilhamento que regulamentam suas boas práticas na gestão de dados. A pesquisa também identificou a importante participação do bibliotecário nas atividades que envolvem a gestão de dados científicos, e sugere estudos mais avançados no Brasil.
This work studies data management initiatives worldwide. Its general objective is to investigate the initiatives and standards used in the exchange of scientific data of the countries that invest the most in research in the world, and the specific objectives, the identification of the countries and agencies that most invest financially in research activities, and systematization of information in this scenario. The research is characterized as descriptive and exploratory where the descriptive character was carried out in the literature review stage, and the exploratory one with the identification of data sharing actions in the international agencies. The research analyzed 6 cadres with the main funding agencies in each country and found that there is a strong involvement of countries in the management of scientific data and they have advanced sharing policies that regulate their good practices in data management. The research also identified the important participation of librarian in the activities that involves the management of scientific data, and suggests more advanced studies in Brazil
