Abstract:
A presente pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar significados sobre maternidade e sujeito-mãe presentes em dois artefatos midiáticos. Insere-se na linha de pesquisa de Educação Científica: implicações das práticas científicas na constituição dos sujeitos, visto que tem como tema a maternidade e a constituição do sujeito-mãe, a partir de práticas sociais que se estabelecem através das mídias. Utilizamos como referencial teórico os Estudos Culturais em suas vertentes pós-estruturalistas, por permitirem que se faça uma análise cultural das mídias, considerando a linguagem como produtora de significados. Para operar com este corpus de análise, utilizamos o roteiro proposto pela autora Fischer (2013) para análise de produtos televisivos e também pressupostos da Análise Cultural. Dois artefatos midiáticos fazem parte do corpus de análise da pesquisa. O primeiro é um episódio veiculado no programa Profissão Repórter, da Rede Globo, intitulado "Depressão pós-parto", que apresentou duas facetas da maternidade: mães que diziam estarem doentes por não amarem suas/seus filhas/os e mães que são chamadas de "desromantizadas", pois escrevem e falam sobre as dificuldades em ser mãe. A partir deste episódio, chegamos ao segundo artefato, uma postagem referente a um desafio realizado no Facebook, onde uma das mães entrevistadas no programa fez uma postagem em resposta ao desafio da maternidade, criando assim o desafio da maternidade real (#desafiodamaternidadereal), em que escreve sobre amar seu filho, mas odiar ser mãe. Dentro da perspectiva da doença depressão pós-parto, constatamos o quanto esta carrega o discurso científico como única e exclusiva explicação, uma vez que as alterações hormonais explicariam o desenvolvimento da patologia, e o quanto o episódio (re)produziu modos de ser mãe mais legitimados que outros. Já o desafio apresentou diversas críticas, uma vez que trouxe ao debate outras possibilidades de ser mãe, promovendo rupturas no discurso hegemônico da maternidade, mostrando o quanto práticas culturais estão imbricadas na questão maternal. Podemos afirmar que tais artefatos ensinam e reforçam modos considerados mais legitimados de exercer a maternidade, reforçando e reproduzindo discursos hegemônicos em relação ao exercício da maternidade, colaborando para a existência de discursos que interpelam as mulheres a desempenharem determinadas regras maternas.
The present research had as objective to analyze the meanings about maternity and subject-mother presents in two media artifacts, in specific on a TV show episode and on a post referent a challenge launched on the social media site Facebook. Inserts in the research line of Scientific Education: implication of the scientific practices on the constitution of the subjects, seeing that it has as theme the maternity and the constitution of the subject-mother, from social practices that are established through medias. We utilize as theoretical referential the Cultural Studies in its post-structurer strands, for allowing to be done a cultural analysis of the media, considering the language as the producer of meanings. To operate with this analysis corpus, we utilized the script proposed by the author Fischer (2013) for the analysis of the televise products and also assumptions of the Cultural Analysis. Two media artifacts are part of the research analysis corpus. The first is an episode served on the TV show Profissão Repórter, of Rede Globo, entitled "Depressão pós-parto", that presented two faces of maternity: mothers that say theyre sick for not loving their children and mothers that are called "dehumanized", because they write and talk about the difficulties of being a mother. From this episode, we get to the second artifact that constitute the researchs corpus, a post referent to a challenge realized on Facebook, where one of the interviewed moms on the show did a post in response to the maternity challenge, creating that wat the Real Maternity Challenge (#desafiodamaternidadereal), where she writes about loving her child, but hating to be a mom. Inside the perspective of the postpartum depression, we verified how much it carries the scientific speech as one and only explanation, once the hormonal alteration would explain the pathology development, and how much the episode (re)produced ways of being a most legitimized mother than the others. Meanwhile, the challenge presented several critical, since it brought to debate others possibilities of being a mother, promoting ruptures on the hegemonic speech of the maternity, showing how much cultural practices are imbricated on the maternal issue.
