Abstract:
O estudo que segue diz respeito a uma dissertação de mestrado que está sendo apresentada no Programa de Pós-Graduação Educação em Ciências: Química da Vida e Saúde, especificamente, na linha de pesquisa "Educação científica: implicações das práticas científicas na constituição dos sujeitos", tendo como problema de pesquisa a seguinte pergunta: como os corpos gordos de mulheres estão sendo produzidos em doze blogs plus size nacionais? Esse estudo tem como objetivo descrever e analisar as enunciações desses blogs plus size nacionais, enquanto forma de produção dos corpos gordos. O referencial teórico em que se apoia minha pesquisa situa-se no campo dos Estudos Culturais, em sua vertente pós-estruturalista, e nas contribuições do filósofo Michel Foucault, principalmente, acerca das suas concepções de discurso. Caminho na direção de pensar de outras maneiras as verdades e os modos de vida de nossa sociedade, não as aceitando como naturais, mas sempre adotando uma atitude de desconfiança e um olhar de curiosidade. Para tanto, enquanto produção das informações, foram utilizados como fonte doze blogs plus size nacionais, os quais venho entendendo como artefatos midiáticos, que ensinam modos de viver os corpos gordos. Nesse empreendimento, uma análise que se mostrou potente foi a das enunciações recorrentes, considerando as materialidades dos doze blogs, levando em conta não somente suas postagens, mas toda a sua estrutura. Dos encontros com as enunciações dispostas nos blogs, emergiram duas suspeitas: a primeira permitiu visualizar o quanto é recorrente o uso das palavras movimento e segmento pelos blogs plus size. Constatei, através dessa primeira análise, que a palavra movimento está sendo usada como uma maneira de aproximar-se dos movimentos sociais e que segmento se associa aos chamados nichos de mercado. Porém, ambas funcionam articuladas, pois as blogueiras reivindicam sua inclusão na sociedade, através de seu reconhecimento como um nicho de mercado. A segunda suspeita leva em consideração as estratégias de poder que vigiam, normalizam e examinam os corpos gordos. Dessa análise, foi possível perceber que os blogs plus size se aproximam dos corpos magros como referência: eles flexibilizam alguns critérios corporais e de modos de vida, mas fazem funcionar o ideal de beleza, saúde, alimentação adequada, rotina de exercícios físicos e o ajuste ao mundo da moda, aos critérios utilizados para os corpos magros. Assim, o plus size acaba por reproduzir a mesma configuração de normalidade aos corpos gordos, instituindo que para ser plus size não basta ter corpos gordos, mas sim, ajustar-se a uma série de características produzidas num contexto de permanente controle, vigilância e exame os quais normalizam esses corpos a partir da referência dos corpos magros, aproximando-os de um corpo aceitável socialmente. Logo, essas duas análises acabaram explicitando algumas estratégias de poder que legitimam determinados saberes sobre os corpos gordos dentro dos doze blogs plus size nacionais, produzindo-os.
The following study says about a masters dissertation that it is presented in the Program of Postgraduate Science Education: Chemistry of Live and Health, specifically , in the research line " Science education: implications of the scientific practices in the constitution of individuals", having as a search problem the following question: how the overweight bodies are being produced in the twelve blogs plus size national? This study has as objective to describe and analyze the enunciations of these blogs plus size national, while mode of production of the overweight bodies. The theoretical referential in which it supports my research is situated in the coverage of the cultural studies, in your demonstrations poststructuralist and in the contributions of the philosopher Michael Foucault, mainly, about your discourse ideas. I walk in the direction of think other ways about the truth and the lifestyle of our society, not accepting this like natural, but always adhering one attitude of distrust and a look of curiosity. Therefore, while production of information they where used as source twelve blogs plus size national. In this achievement, one analysis which proved to be powerful it was the recurring utterances, considering the materialities of the twelve blogs, taking into account not only your posts, but their whole structure. Of the meetings with the enunciations willing in the blogs, emerged two suspicious: the first, allowed to view how it recurs the use of the words, movement and segment by the blogs plus size. I found, through this first analysis, that the word, movement its been used as a way to get closer to social movements, and the word, segment it is associated with the so-called niches of market. In this analysis has been possible to perceive that the blogs plus size still take the lean bodies as reference, relativising some physical criteria and lifestyle, but make it work the ideal of beauty, health, adequate food, routine exercises and the adjustment to the fashion world, that is, the same criteria used for the analysis of lean subjects. So the plus size just by restating the same normal configuration for the overweight people establishing that to be plus size isnt not enough to be fat, but must adjust themselves in a number of produced features in context of permanent control, surveillance and examination, approaching them of an acceptable body socially. Soon these two analysis explicit some power strategies that legitimizing certain knowledges about the overweight bodies in the twelve blogs plus size national, producing them.
