Abstract:
Este trabalho analisa a possível ligação de opiniões pessoais com o compartilhamento de fake news, buscando conhecer como o bibliotecário se comporta diante de todo o crescimento de desinformação na internet. Investiga os motivos que faz com que as fake news cresçam na internet em grande escala e aponta medidas de validação de notícias para o profissional da informação conseguir diferenciar o que é verdadeiro e o que é falso dentro da internet. A pesquisa trabalhou com a abordagem quantitativo, é de caráter descritivo e utilizou de um questionário como instrumento de coleta de dados, a fim de identificar como os alunos do curso de Biblioteconomia da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande,futuros profissionais da área,procedem com relação às fake news, tendo em vista a influência de suas ideologias pessoais na verificação da integridade de notícias. Dentre os resultados encontrados concluiu-se que são poucos os alunos que possuem forte influência de opiniões pessoais ao analisar e compartilhar notícias, já sendo muito preocupante para um curso que tem como ponto principal a veracidade e disseminação da informação.
This work analyzes the possible connection of personal ideologies with the sharing of fake news, seeking to know how the librarian behaves in the face of all the growth of disinformation on the internet. It investigates the reasons that make fake news grow on the internet no a large scale and points out news validation measures for the information professional to be able to differentiate between what is true and what is false within the internet. The research has a quantitative and descriptive character and will be applied a questionnaire with the students of the course of Librarianship of the Federal University of Rio Grande to know how the future professionals proceed with the fake news, considering the influence of their personal ideologies in the verification of news intergrity. Among the results found, there are few that have Strong influences of personal ideologies when analyzing and sharing news, already being very worrying for a course whose main point of verification and dissemination of information.
