Abstract:
Esta pesquisa abordou o tema biblioteca prisional e tem como objetivo conceituar pela literatura a temática Biblioteca Prisional e oferecer por recorte a percepção dos professores do curso de Bacharelado em Biblioteconomia da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande – FURG sobre o tema. A fim de verificar e analisar se o tema é tratado dentro da sala de aula e se os professores estão cientes sobre o tema biblioteca prisional, que está crescendo nos últimos anos, foi enviado por e-mail um questionário com cinco perguntas referentes ao tema para 7 professores do curso.Obteve-se poucas respostas, apenas 3 professores responderam o questionário, demonstrando a falta de interesse sobre o tema. Com base nas respostas enviadas,os professores já tiveram contato com o tema bibliotecas prisionais e já conversaram informalmente entre colegas, visto que a instituição já teve um projeto para a implementação de uma biblioteca no presídio de Rio Grande, a PERG. Portanto podemos concluir que o tema ainda é escasso em sala de aula e ainda conta com a falta de interesse dos professores.
This research approached the theme of prison library and has as its aim to conceptualize it via the literature, as well as to offer a cutout of the perception of the teachers of Bachelor of Library Science course at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (FURG) about this thematic. In order to verify and analyze whether or not this theme is treated inside classroom, and whether the teachers are aware about the theme of prison library, which is growing in recent years, a questionnaire was sent via e-mail to seven teachers of the course, with five questions about the theme. Fewanswers were obtained, only three teachers answered the questionnaire,demonstrating the lack of interest about the theme. Based on the answers received,those teachers already had contact with the thematic of prison library and had spoken informally between colleagues, since the institution already had an implementation project of a prison library in Rio Grande prison (PERG). Therefore,we can conclude that the theme is still scarce in classroom and still has the lack of interest of teachers.
