Abstract:
A presente dissertação foi escrita para o Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação Ambiental, na linha de pesquisa Educação Ambiental: Ensino e Formação de Educadores (as) com o objetivo de examinar a rede de discursos que a juventude com HIV/Aids está imersa, tais como: da religião, da morte, da família, da sexualidade, da saúde, da escola, dos amigos, da medicina. Procurei conhecer as narrativas desses jovens bem como de outros colaboradores dessa pesquisa sobre a presença desses indivíduos em alguns segmentos da sociedade. Para alcançar este objetivo, dois jovens – uma menina de 14 anos (Pandora) e um menino de 13 anos (Gabriel) foram convidados a participar da pesquisa juntamente com seus responsáveis. Sobre Pandora, as narrativas a propósito do corpo “aidético” se destacam em suas últimas vivências fora do ambiente familiar. Desvelada, sofre preconceito velado que associado a outras vivências dolorosas decide não mais tomar seus remédios, que lhe são vitais; sendo assim, a jovem falece em abril de 2006. O jovem mantém-se velado e sofre o medo de ser descoberto como portador do vírus – em ambos os casos verificamos o poder disciplinar, a vigilância, a mídia e as biopolíticas a construir discursos que norteiam suas vidas e seus corpos. Outros colaboradores auxiliaram nesta pesquisa, como a responsável de um colega de aula de Pandora, o médico que cuidou de ambos os jovens desde seus primeiros meses de vida e as educadoras da escola de Pandora. Utilizei como principal instrumento de pesquisa anotações realizadas no diário de campo e que, logo após, tornaram-se relatórios. Estas anotações feitas com os jovens foram narrativas de suas vivências na escola, com a família, sexualidade e religião. Com os responsáveis desses jovens – médico aidologista e educadoras – realizei entrevista não-estruturada. Este estudo tem como teóricos os filósofos Michel Foucault e Friedrich Nietzsche, embora não sejam somente estes autores que proporcionaram uma reflexão sobre este tema tão polêmico e desafiador; então, cito outros autores que colaboraram de forma significativa para esta dissertação, entre eles Ribeiro, Souza, Santos, Larrosa, Tiburi, Keirl, Veiga-Neto, Fonseca, Galvão, Parker, Galiazzi e outros. Através das narrativas dos jovens realizadas por meio das entrevistas com os colaboradores, foi possível realizar este trabalho, ou seja, vivenciando os temores que as vítimas do HIV/Aids têm da construção social do “corpo perigoso” e o quanto estes discursos influenciam na decisão de viver ou morrer. Na Educação Ambiental, este tema se mostra significativo para todos os segmentos da sociedade, porque é no ambiente social que estes indivíduos querem exercer sua cidadania e obter respeito às suas vidas.
The present dissertation was written to the Program of Post-Graduation in Environmental Education, in the research line of Environmental Education: Teaching and Formation of Educators with the objective of examining the net of speeches that the young people with HIV/SIDA is submerged, such as: of the religion, of the death, of the family, of the sexuality, of the health, of the school, of the friends, of the medicine. I tried to know the narratives of these young ones as well as of other collaborator s of this research on those individuals' presence in some segments of the society. To reach this aim, two young - a 14 years-old girl (Pandora) and a 13 years-old boy (Gabriel) were invited to participate in the research together with their responsible. About Pandora, the narratives concerning the suffering from SIDA body stand out in their last existences out of the family atmosphere. Carefulness, she suffers veiled preconception that associated to other painful existences decides not more take their medicines, that are vital; although, the youth girl dies in April, 2006. The youth boy stays veiled and he suffers the fear of be discovered as bearer of the virus - in both cases we verified the power of the discipline, the surveillance, the media and the bio-power building speeches that orientate their lives and their bodies. Other collaborators helped in this research, as the responsible of a friend of class of Pandora, the doctor that took care of both youths from their first months of life and the educators of the school of Pandora. I
used as main instrument of research annotations accomplished in the field diary and that, soon after, they became reports. These annotations done with the youths were narrative of their existences in the school, with the family, sexuality and religion. With the responsible of these young ones - doctor expert in SIDA and educators - I accomplished no-structured interview. This study has as theoretical philosophers Michel Foucault and Friedrich Nietzsche, although they are not only these authors that provided a reflection on such controversial and challenging theme; then, I mention other authors that collaborated in a significant way for this dissertation, among them Ribeiro, Souza, Santos, Larrosa, Tiburi, Keirl, Veiga-Neto, Fonseca, Galvão, Parker, Galiazzi and other. Through the youths' narratives accomplished through the interviews with the collaborators, it was po ssible to accomplish this work, in other words, living the fears that the victims of HIV/SIDA have of the social construction of the "dangerous body" and how these speeches influence in the decision of to live or to die. In the Environmental Education, this theme is shown significant to all of the continuations of the society, because it is in the social atmosphere that these individuals want to exercise theirs citizenship and to obtain respect to theirs lives.
