Abstract:
Este trabalho visa analisar o empoderamento de mulheres pobres em relação à dupla opressão que sofrem a partir das categorias gênero e classe. Procuramos perceber em que medida as relações de gênero interferem na questão da classe social produzindo e reforçando a subalternização feminina. Somado a isso buscamos na noção de interseccionalidade uma chave interpretativa mais ampla que dê conta de outras variáveis, não menos importantes, como a raça, que aprofundam a subalternidade e a vulnerabilidade social feminina. Para isso analisaremos a fala de mulheres, através de entrevistas, para perceber de que maneira e até que ponto uma associação de educação não formal como o Movimento Solidário Colmeia, da cidade de Rio Grande – RS proporciona ferramentas intelectuais para a luta contra as opressões e contribui para o empoderamento feminino.
This work aims to analyze the empowerment of poor women in relation to the double oppression they suffer from the categories of gender and class. We try to understand to what extent gender relations interfere in the question of social class, producing and reinforcing female subordination. In addition to this, we seek in the notion of intersectionality a broader interpretative key that takes into account other variables, no less important, such as race, which deepen the subordination and feminine social vulnerability. For this, we will analyze the speech of women, through interviews, to understand how and to what extent an association of non-formal education such as the Colmeia Solidarity Movement, in the city of Rio Grande - RS provides intellectual tools for the fight against oppression and contributes to women's empowerment.
