Abstract:
O presente estudo tem como principal objetivo investigar as representações das infâncias nos livros didáticos do ensino de História, dos Anos Finais do Ensino Fundamental, ciclo 2012 - 2015, do PNLD. A temática foi escolhida em decorrência da percepção das novas concepções sobre as infâncias na atualidade e do impacto das imagens nas práticas pedagógicas do ensino de História, observando como são tratadas as questões de etnia, gênero, classe social e, consequentemente, a articulação de uma cultura infantil. Esses materiais estão sendo produzidos pensando nos alunos que irão estudá-los? Os professores estão preparados para trabalhar as questões étnicas e de gênero nas leituras das imagens? E as infâncias, como estão sendo percebidas pelos estudantes do ensino de História? Serão as infâncias percebidas pelos professores e discutidas com os alunos em sala de aula? Essas são questões orientadoras da pesquisa, sendo pensadas a partir do campo da História Cultural. Para fins de análise, as imagens são tomadas como sinônimo de fotografias e tratadas como recurso históricopedagógico. Para a investigação dos dados quantitativos, selecionamos todas as imagens nas quais apareciam crianças e para análise e contextualização histórica, foram selecionadas somente as fotografias, buscando as representações de infâncias que demonstrem experiências cotidianas. Concluímos que a infância ainda necessita ser estudada e teorizada a fim de atingir pelo menos boa parte das pesquisas em sua constituição histórica, sendo compreendida e representada em sua plenitude, em razão de sua importância histórica, social e cultural. De acordo com as investigações, percebeu-se que as imagens selecionadas apresentam de forma genérica a infância, ou seja, não há evidências de que a organização dos livros didáticos, tendo em vista sua seleção de imagens, tenha sido pensada no sentido de representar a infância em sua especificidade histórica. Logo, observou-se que as imagens na maioria das vezes estão apenas ilustrando os conteúdos.
The main objective of this study is to investigate the representations of childhoods in History teaching textbooks, from the Final Years of Elementary School, 2012 cycle - 2015, of the PNLD. The theme was chosen due to the perception of new conceptions about childhoods today and the impact of images on pedagogical teaching practices of History, observing how the issues of ethnicity, gender, social class and, consequently, the articulation of a children's culture. These materials are being produced thinking about the students who will study them? Teachers are prepared to work on ethnic and gender issues in the readings of the images? And childhoods, how are they being perceived by history teaching students? Will childhoods be perceived by teachers and discussed with students in the classroom? These are guiding questions of the research, being thought from the field of Cultural History. For analysis purposes, the images are taken as synonymous with photographs and treated as a historical-pedagogical resource. For the investigation of quantitative data, we selected all images in the which children appeared and for analysis and historical contextualization, they were selected only the photographs, looking for representations of childhoods that demonstrate experiences everyday. We conclude that childhood still needs to be studied and theorized in order to achieve at least a good part of the research in its historical constitution, being understood and represented in its fullness, due to its historical, social and cultural importance. In according to the investigations, it was noticed that the selected images present generic childhood, that is, there is no evidence that the organization of textbooks, in view of its selection of images, it has been designed to represent the childhood in its historical specificity. Therefore, it was observed that the images in most of the sometimes they are just illustrating the contents.
