Abstract:
A partir da história oral de vida de velhos moradores de um bairro rural do estado de São
Paulo, o objetivo geral do trabalho é identificar em suas lembranças, temáticas e aspectos de suas vidas que sejam relevantes para uma educação ambiental mais crítica, que leve em conta a problemática do bairro e as relações indivíduo-sociedade. Primeiramente foram realizadas as entrevistas, seguidas de três etapas: transcrição literal das falas, textualização e transcriação, sendo
construídos textos em primeira pessoa, levados à validação pelos entrevistados. A partir das narrativas, foram feitos recortes sobre recordações e reflexões da escola, o papel da escola, o bairro e a vida no bairro. As questões levantadas podem subsidiar propostas de ações, atividades e projetos de Educação Ambiental.
From the oral history of life of elderly residents of a rural district of state of Sao Paulo, the overall objective of the study is to identify in their memories, thematic and aspects of their life that are relevant a more critical environmental education that takes into account the problematic of
the district and relationships individual-society. Initially the interviews were conducted, followed by three steps: literal transcription of the speeches, textual and trans-creation, where texts were constructed in the first person brought to validation by the interviewees. From the narratives,
clippings were made on memories and reflections of the school, the role of the school, the district and the life in the district. The questions raised can subside the proposition of actions, activities and projects of Environmental Education.
