Abstract:
O objetivo deste texto é desenvolver uma abordagem sobre a relação entre pedagogia e ciência, discutindo o campo de atuação profissional do pedagogo e os requisitos para que ele possa ser concebido como cientista da educação. Tendo isso em conta, não se abonam, por exemplo, as concepções tradicionais sobre conhecimento puro e conhecimento aplicado, teoria e prática, assim como a especialização disciplinar. O texto é construído procurando tratar o fenômeno abordado em sua totalidade.
This paper has as objective to develop an approach about the relationship between pedagogy and science. So it discusses the field of professional activity of the pedagogue, as well as the necessary requisites for the definition of a conception of the pedagogue as scientist of the education. In this way, the paper refuse the traditional conceptions about pure knowledge and applied knowledge, theory and practice, as well as the academic specialization. The paper intends to focus the studied subject in its totality.
