Abstract:
Neste documento apresentamos os resultados de um diagnóstico socioambiental com enfoque de gênero realizado numa comunidade rural do municipio de Loreto, localizado no estado de Baja California Sur, México. Dita pesquisa foi realizada tomando como referentes a educação popular ambiental e as ferramentas para a elaboração de diagnósticos participativos com perspectiva de gênero da Unión Internacional para la Naturaleza (UICN). A recuperação de informações estabeleceu-se desde referentes qualitativos, utilizando os seguintes instrumentos metodológicos: oficinas, entrevistas em profundidade e observação participante. O documento se estrutura da seguinte maneira: inicia com reflexões sobre a articulação entre os recursos naturais e as sociedades, bem como sobre o papel dos diagnósticos para o conhecimento das realidades locais. Em seguida analisam-se as relações socioambientais numa comunidade rural e finalmente se oferecem as recomendações que emergiram deste estudo.
In this article we present the results of a socio-environmental diagnosis with approach on gender conducted in an agricultural community in the town of Loreto, located in the state of Baja California Sur, Mexico. This research included an approach on environmental and popular education and the tools for participative diagnostic referring to a gender perspective of the Unión Internacional para la Naturaleza (UICN). The recopilation was established since qualitative issues, using the following metodological tools: workshops, interviews in depth, and participant observation. This article is structured as follows: it begins with reflections on the link between the natural resources and the societies, as well as the role of diagnosis for the knowledge of local realities. After that, it presents an analysis of socio-environmental relations in an agricultural community and offers the final recommendations that arose in this study.
