A produção brasileira de teses sobre Educação Ambiental na Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD): uma análise temática

Abstract

pesquisa sobre educação ambiental (EA) no Brasil é significativa, apesar de recente. Parte expressiva da produção das referidas pesquisas resulta de dissertações e teses, sendo uma de suas dificuldades o uso predominante dos resumos nas análises da produção em foco. Uma forma de contornar tal dificuldade é trabalhar com a íntegra dos textos, mediante o uso da Biblioteca Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD). O objetivo do presente trabalho foi recuperar, catalogar e analisar as teses sobre EA disponíveis na BDTD. Os seguintes critérios foram utilizados para a seleção dos documentos: o texto ser recuperado através do uso de EA como assunto; o texto estar integralmente acessível. Foram selecionadas 73 teses, posteriormente classificadas em 22 categorias. Ensino de Psicologia, Gestão Ambiental, Recursos Hídricos e Ciências Humanas e Psicologia foram observadas com maior frequência.

Research on Environmental Education (EE) in Brazil is significant, despite being new. A good amount of the production derives from dissertations and theses. However, a difficulty of these studies is that most of them only use abstracts for the analysis of the production. A way to overcome this difficulty is to work with the full texts found in the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD). This study aimed at finding, cataloging and analyzing the theses on EE that were available in the BDTD. The following criteria were used for the selection of the documents: the text had to be found by using EE as a subject; and access had tobe provided to the full text. Seventy three theses were selected and classified into 22 categories. The most common ones were: Psychology Teaching, Environmental Management, Water Resources and Human Sciences and Psychology.
