Artes visuais, tecnologia e educação: experiências pedagógicas com o retroprojetor na sala de aula
Resumo
Este artigo aborda uma pesquisa sobre o uso das tecnologias na escola através de experiências com o retroprojetor utilizado como tecnologia investigativa de estudo na disciplina de Artes Visuais, com turmas de adolescentes de escolas públicas de Pelotas/RS. Apesar de ser um recurso tecnológico antigo, observou-se a subutilização do retroprojetor na escola, sendo ainda desconhecido por alunos e professores. Através da pesquisa de materiais, os estudantes experienciaram as possibilidades estéticas da descoberta da luz, transparência e opacidade, exercitando a expressão e a criatividade nas propostas realizadas. Transcendendo o seu uso convencional, o retroprojetor foi ressignificado e valorizado nas suas potencialidades.
This study discusses the use of technology in schools through experiments with overhead projector used as an investigative study technology in the discipline of Visual Arts, with groups of adolescents of public schools in southern Brazil (city of Pelotas, state of Rio Grande do Sul). Although it is a well-established technology, such type of projectors has been underused in schools, and many students and teachers still ignore it. Through the study of materials, students experienced the aesthetic possibilities of the discovery of light, transparency and opacity as well as exercised the expression and creativity in the proposals made. Transcending its conventional use, the overhead projector was reframed and its potentials valued.
