Luz, câmera, produção : analisando as representações de gênero e de mulher mãe apresentadas nos filmes "Minha mãe é uma peça" e "Minha mãe é uma peça 2"

Abstract

Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar as representações de gênero e de mulher mãe apresentadas nos filmes "Minha mãe é uma peça" e "Minha mãe é uma peça 2" - dois artefatos culturais, do gênero comédia e de grande audiência nas salas de cinema de todo o país. A motivação surgiu a partir dos estudos realizados no decorrer do mestrado e das reflexões que surgiram no decorrer dos anos em que atuo na área da educação e percebo as mudanças nas formações familiares, nas representações de gênero e nas identidades de mulheres mães e suas atribuições nas famílias. O referencial teórico está baseado nos Estudos Culturais, em suas vertentes pós-estruturalistas, fundamentando-se em posicionamentos que entendem a família, as identidades de gênero e o exercício da maternidade como construções históricas, sociais e culturais, que se constituem na correlação de elementos presentes na família, nas instâncias educativas, na medicina, na religião, entre outros, através de estratégias de poder/saber. Para realizar tal estudo a metodologia utilizada foi a Análise Cultural, com foco nas performances de gênero da protagonista e dos personagens principais, nos dois artefatos culturais estudados, sempre com a intenção de provocar outros olhares e possibilidades ao tratar dos temas famílias, gênero e maternidade. Foi possível observar que os filmes contêm pedagogias culturais, pois eles ensinam modos de se viver em família, modos de ser mulher, mãe, divorciada, formas de ser filho e filha, formas de ser pai divorciado, as atribuições de cada um(uma) na família, dentre outros aspectos. Entende-se que a forma de ser mulher mãe apresentada nos filmes analisados não é a única possível e nem a única existente na contemporaneidade, assim a representação da D. Hermínia nos sugere uma das formas, entre tantas outras possíveis. As questões envolvendo as temáticas sobre família, mulher, mãe foram analisadas e discutidas sem a ideia de esgotá-las, mas sim de ressaltar possibilidades, dificuldades, conflitos, propósitos e despropósitos decorrentes dos deslocamentos e revisões que essas temáticas vem apresentando na contemporaneidade.

This research aims to analyze the representations of gender and mother woman presented in the films "My mother is a play" and "My mother is a play 2" - two cultural artifacts, comedy genre and large audience in theaters of All country. The motivation arose from the studies carried out during the masters course and from the reflections that emerged during the years in which I work in the area of education and I perceive the changes in the family formations, in the gender representations and in the identities of women mothers and their attributions in the families. The theoretical framework is based on Cultural Studies, in its poststructuralist aspects, based on positions that understand the family, the gender identities and the exercise of motherhood as historical, social and cultural constructions, which constitute the correlation of elements present in the family, in educational institutions, in medicine, in religion, among others, through strategies of power / knowledge. In order to carry out such a study, the methodology used was the Cultural Analysis, focusing on the gender performances of the protagonist and the main characters, in the two cultural artifacts studied, always with the intention of provoking other looks and possibilities when dealing with themes such as families, gender and maternity. It was possible to observe that the films contain cultural pedagogies, because they teach ways of living in the family, ways of being a woman, mother, divorced, ways of being a son and daughter, divorced fatherhood, in the family, among other aspects. It is understood that the way of being a woman mother presented in the films analyzed is not the only possible and not the only one existing in contemporaneity, so the representation of Mrs. Hermínia suggests one of the forms, among many other possible. The issues surrounding family, woman, mother were analyzed and discussed without the idea of exhausting them, but rather of highlighting possibilities, difficulties, conflicts, purposes and disproportion arising from the displacements and revisions that these themes have been presenting in contemporary times.
