Abstract:
A presente pesquisa repousa sua linha investigativa sobre o Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação Ambiental da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (PPGEA/FURG) e sua produção acadêmica na forma das teses de doutoramento. Partindo da linha de pesquisa "Fundamentos da Educação Ambiental", foi estabelecido como objetivo geral a realização de um mapeamento das perspectivas da Educação Ambiental (EA) a partir das proposições das teses desse Programa, extraídas do corpo de seus resumos. Para tanto, toma-se a definição do ambiente como espaço construído socialmente em relações de disputa entre grupos antagônicos, com predomínio de um(uns) sobre outro(s). Esse predomínio se materializaria na forma de um quadro de injustiça ambiental que recai preferencialmente sobre os grupos sociais mais vulneráveis. Por sua vez, o campo da pesquisa em EA também se configuraria um espaço social em disputa, em que os grupos sociais se fazem representar por meio de perspectivas discursivas. Nesse sentido, estariam ali presentes tanto o discurso hegemônico, identificado pelo caráter conservador das propostas que o representam, quanto o discurso contra-hegemônico, este de caráter transformador. As perspectivas associadas ao discurso conservador seriam aquelas voltadas à manutenção do sistema socioeconômico vigente e do quadro de injustiça ambiental que ele gera. Por sua vez, as perspectivas de caráter transformador seriam aquelas que buscam, em última instância, a superação de ambos. Cabe, pois, a esta investigação identificar o discurso predominante entre as perspectivas em disputa no campo da EA. Para essa análise, convém, portanto, adotar, no plano geral, os referenciais da tradição marxista, de crítica ao sistema socioeconômico vigente e ao quadro de injustiça ambiental deflagrado no Brasil, como o próprio Marx e Henri Acselrad, respectivamente. No plano específico, da discussão no campo da EA, servem como interlocutores alguns autores, como Isabel Carvalho, Phillipe Layrargues e Gustavo Lima, e Caio dos Santos e outros, que empreenderam a identificação das perspectivas da EA em disputa no campo. No que concerne à análise dos dados, auxiliam principalmente as contribuições de John L. Austin, Mikhail Bakhtin e Michael Halliday. Dos dados obtidos, é possível apontar o discurso conservador, mais favorável aos interesses do(s) grupo(s) hegemônico(s) da sociedade, como predominante no campo da EA. No entanto, os dados também permitem vislumbrar no futuro uma mudança de rumos na disputa pela hegemonia no campo. Mas o que essa mudança representará efetivamente, caso se confirme, apenas o tempo dirá.
This research focuses his investigative line on the Graduate Program in Environmental Education of the Federal University of Rio Grande (PPGEA/FURG) and their academic production in the form of doctoral theses. From the line of research "Fundamentals of Environmental Education" it was established as a general objective the realization of a mapping of perspectives of Environmental Education (EE) from the propositions of the theses of this program, taken from the body of their abstracts. Therefore, it takes the definition of environment as socially constructed space in relations of dispute between antagonistic groups, with a predominance of one(ones) over the other(s). This predominance materializes in the form of an environmental injustice framework that fall preferably on the most vulnerable social groups. In turn, the research field in EE also would set a social space in dispute, in which social groups are represented through discursive perspectives. In this sense, would be present both the hegemonic discourse, identified for the conservative character of proposals which represent to it, as the counterhegemonic discourse, this of transformer character. The associated perspectives to the conservative discourse would be those aimed to maintaining the current socio-economic system and of environmental injustice frame it generates. In turn, the perspectives of transformer character would be those which intend, ultimately, the overcoming both. It must therefore this research identify the predominant discourse between the perspectives in dispute in the field of EA. For this analysis, should therefore be adopted, in the general plan, the references of the Marxist tradition, of criticism of the current socio-economic system and of environmental injustice frame broken out in Brazil, as Marx himself and Henri Acselrad, respectively. In the specific plan, of the discussion in the field of EA, serve as interlocutors some authors as Isabel Carvalho, Phillipe Layrargues and Gustavo Lima, and Caio dos Santos and others who undertook the identification of perspectives of the EA in dispute in the field. Regarding the analysis of data, contribute mainly John L. Austin, Mikhail Bakhtin and Michael Halliday. From the data obtained, it is possible to point the conservative discourse, more favorable to interests of the hegemonic group(s) of society as predominant in the field of EA. However, the data also permit to glimpse into the future a change of direction in the dispute for hegemony in the field. But what change will represent in fact, if confirmed, only time will tell.
