The present Master of Education Dissertation entitled - Building Child Identities in a ―Corderosadora Nation‖: Gender, Social Class and Race on YouTube Videos, developed in FURG's PPGEDU Cultures, Identities and Differences research line sought to discuss how Children's identities are forged within a universe created by the Pampili brand. The investigation sought to answer, albeit provisionally, the following research problem: What discourses and representations about consumption and gender are present in the channel of a brand aimed at the female child audience, namely, ―Mundo da Girl by Pampili‖ ‖Posted on YouTube. Enrolled in the theoretical-methodological frameworks of the field of Cultural Studies in Education and Gender Studies and operating with the Post-Critical Inspiration screen ethnography, twelve videos were selected that functioned as the discursive and analytical corpus of the present study. It was also used in the analysis the brand website and blog so that the understanding of the universe created by the brand could be broader and better understood. The propositions that permeate the analysis have led to the fact that cultural pedagogies in operation through consumption, visibility and beautification are intertwined in children's relationships with themselves and with society. In this sense, the study dialogues with the possibility that children seem to build their identities in the transit of ephemeral cultural universes, which educate and produce meanings in the dialogue with the media.
