Abstract:
O presente artigo tem por objetivo discutir a conjuntura contemporânea com foco nas questões socioambientais e na estrutura político-econômica da América Latina – AL. Assim, pretende-se destacar a importância da EA e seu enquadramento dentro das questões atinentes à geopolítica, para se compreender desdobramentos do neoliberalismo sobre o cenário socioambiental. Para tanto, percorre-se o caminho da pesquisa bibliográfica em
obras de referência no campo da EA dentro da conjuntura da AL.
This article aims to discuss the contemporary situation with a focus on environmental issues and the politicaleconomic structure in Latin America - LA. Thus, we intend to highlight the importance of EA and its setting within the issues relating to geopolitics, to understand consequences of neoliberalism on the socio-environmental
scenario. To this end, traverses the path of literature in reference works in the field of EA LA contextualizing the situation.
