Abstract:
Este artigo objetiva analisar alguns elementos que estão além do alcance imediato da lei e que dificultam o reconhecimento das relações homossexuais como uma unidade familiar no Brasil, apresentando alguns caminhos para a superação desses obstáculos. Para tanto, recorre-se às contribuições da obra de Michel Foucault, sobre a história da sexualidade no Ocidente que servem de fundamento para a compreensão da gradual mudança da norma rígida da heterossexualidade, caracterizada pelo matrimônio e a prática de atos sexuais destinadas à reprodução, além das contribuições do pensamento de Hans-Georg Gadamer, pelo caráter ontológico existencial de sua obra, como instrumento propenso a sinalizar novas perspectivas para se repensar a homossexualidade, iluminadas pela historicidade, alteridade e finitude da vida humana.
This article aims to analyze some elements that are beyond the immediate reach of the law, and hindering the recognition of gay relationships as a family unit in Brazil, with some ways to overcome these obstacles. To do so, refers to the contributions of the work of Michel FOUCAULT on the history of sexuality int the Western world that are the
foundation for understanding the gradual change from the norm of heterosexuality rigid, characterized by the practice of marriage and sexual acts for breeding, in addition to contributions of the thought of Hans-George GADAMER, the existential ontological character of his work as a tool likely to signal new opportunities for rethinking homosexuality, illuminated by history and finitude of human life.
