Abstract:
Este artigo propõe uma análise da gênese do saber criminológico oitocentista, estabelecendo uma relação de continuidade entre o desenvolvimento deste corpo de saber e os procedimentos inquisitórios e carcerários, que também se caracterizam pela objetificação da pessoa humana.
This article proposes an analysis of the genesis of the criminological knowledge in the nineteenth century, establishing a continuity between the development of this body of knowledge and the procedures of the inquisition and the prison, which also are characterized by the objectification of the human person.
