Abstract:
O presente trabalho de conclusão de curso tem por objetivo abordar o sistema
penal vigente através de um olhar critico, trazendo a mídia como cerne do
estudo em tela. A situação política econômica e social nos dias de hoje mostra
claramente sinais de que está prestes a entrar em colapso, precisando
urgentemente buscar meios para resolver verdadeiramente os conflitos que nós
mesmos criamos. A maior parte da população ainda vive a margem das
políticas públicas, a margem de seus próprios direitos, a teoria do
etiquetamento mostra-se ser mais que uma teoria quando todas pessoas
mesmo que inconscientemente de fato rotulam uns aos outros a partir do seu
próprio ponto de vista. A mídia atua como instituição fomentadora dessa cultura
de criação de estereótipos e julgamentos vazios, que só fazem alimentar o
ódio, a insegurança, criando uma sociedade cada vez mais desigual e incapaz
de enxergar e consequentemente solucionar tais situações. A criminologia
cultural, por sua vez trabalha de modo a auxiliar o planejamento de novas
políticas e abordagens, trazendo novo aspectos a serem analisados, buscando
olhar critico acerca do sistema vigente e as imposições inerentes à ele.
This course conclusion work aims to address the current penal system through
a critical look, bringing the media to screen in the core study. The economic and
social political situation these days clearly shows signs that it is about to
collapse, needing urgently seek ways to truly resolve the conflicts that we even
created. Most of the population still lives the margin of public policies, the
margin of their own rights, labeling theory shows to be more than a theory when
all people even if unconsciously actually label each other from their own point of
view. The media acts as a sponsor institution that culture of creating empty
stereotypes and judgments, which only make fuel hatred, insecurity, creating an
increasingly unequal society and unable to see and therefore resolve such
situations. The cultural criminology, in turn works to assist the planning of new
policies and approaches, bringing new aspects to be analyzed, searching look
critical about the current system and the constraints inherent in it.
