Abstract:
A partir da escolha temática que envolve o banco de dados genéticos e seu entrelaçamento com
a realidade biopolítica brasileira, assim como, em um contexto maior, a própria modernidade,
foi possível trilhar um dos caminhos possíveis para melhor entender fenômenos complexos que
são, seguidamente, simplificados. É assim que o presente trabalho de conclusão de curso
procura, sempre integrando o pensamento crítico acerca da modernidade, pensar as questões
biopolíticas a partir dos trabalhos de Michel Foucault e Giorgio Agamben, em constante
movimento em direção ao complexo, seguindo para tanto aquilo que Edgar Morin oferece em
sua obra. É possível dizer, neste caso, que não se parte em busca de respostas ou de uma
hipótese, mas sim que o próprio caminho já consiste na pergunta e que ao final é possível
esboçar mais problemas do que quando se começou.
From the thematic choice that involves the genetic database and its interlacement with the
Brazilian biopolitics reality and, in a larger context, modernity itself, it was possible to walk
one of the possible ways to better understand complex phenomena that are subsequently
simplified. Thus the present completion of course work seeks, always integrating critical
thinking about modernity, think the biopolitics issues from the work of Michel Foucault and
Giorgio Agamben, constantly moving towards the complex, according to what Edgar Morin
offers in his work. It's possible to say, in this case, that the aim is not to seek for answers or an
hypothesis, but to make the way itself the question and that, in the end, it may be possible to
find more problems than answers.
