Corpos intersexo: borrando fronteiras da norma binária

Abstract

A dissertação "Corpos intersexo: borrando fronteiras da norma binária" tem como objetivo investigar a produção científica, na base de teses e dissertações da Capes, sobre os sujeitos hermafroditas, intersexuais e Anomalias da Diferenciação Sexual (ADS), bem como, analisar as enunciações presentes nessas teses e dissertações acerca dos sujeitos intersexo. Essa pesquisa fundamenta-se a partir do diálogo com autores/as como Nádia Pino, Richard Miskolci, Michel Foucault, Judith Butler, Violeta Hernandéz Guanche, Guacira Louro entre outros/as. Para a produção dos dados da pesquisa utilizamos o Portal de Periódicos da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (Capes), onde escolheu-se o Banco de Teses & Dissertações. Nessa base, utilizamos os descritores - hermafroditismo, intersexualidade e "Anomalias da Diferenciação Sexual" para selecionarmos as dissertações e teses, a partir do ano de 2006, onde foi realizado o Consenso de Chicago, até o ano de 2016. Após foram realizados três movimentos de análise do material empírico: no primeiro movimento analisamos todas as dissertações e teses selecionadas; no segundo, observamos as palavras-chave empregadas, os campos de saber acionados e as metodologias; no terceiro analisamos as enunciações produzidas a partir das falas dos sujeitos intersexuais com Hiperplasia Adrenocortical Congênita (HAC) e hipospádia, dos familiares e dos/as profissionais da área da saúde. A análise das enunciações possibilitou a emergência do discurso biológico entrelaçado ao discurso médico, ao discurso de gênero inteligível e aos atributos sociais. Na análise dos discursos percebemos a normalização desses sujeitos, com a finalidade que todos/as sejam enquadrados no padrão binário de gênero, não sendo possível viver sem estar inserido em uma dessas categorias. Assim, os/as que se desviarem dessa norma, serão submetidos a procedimentos como as cirurgias de correção ou redesignação sexual e hormonoterapia. Além disso, há também questões como o registro civil, os brinquedos e as brincadeiras, o vestuário que também buscam essa normalização tanto no que diz respeito ao gênero inteligível quanto aos atributos sociais entrelaçados à questão biológica.

This present dissertation aims at investigating the scientific production, taking into consideration Capes thesis and dissertations data basis, about epicene subjects, intersex and Anomalies of the Sexual Differentiation (ASD), as well as it aims at analyzing the statements which are present in those dissertations and thesis about those intersex subjects. This research is based upon the dialog among several authors, such as Nádia Pino, Richard Miskolci, Michel Foucault, Judith Butler, Violeta Hernandéz Guanche, Guacira Louro, and others. The methodology hereby used was the search on the data basis in Capes Journal Portal in which it was chosen to search on the Capes Thesis and Dissertation Data Basis as it is understood to guarantee the exclusive access to the scientific content in the previously referred Portal. Within this basis, there were analyzed the papers found from the following descriptors - hermaphroditism, intersexuality and "Anomalies of the Sexual Differentiation"; and the following filter, the year of 2006 in which happened the Chicago Consensus up to the year of 2016. After this, there were three movements in order to analyze the whole empiric material. In the first movement there was the analysis of all the thesis and dissertations selected by the presented descriptors. In the second movement of analysis, there were observed the keywords used, the fields of knowledge that were triggered and the methodologies used in that material and so, there were eleven (11) dissertation and five (5) thesis selected. Thus, the third movement came as the analysis of the statements produced from the lines spoken by the intersex subjects (who had HAC, SIA and hiccup), by their relatives and by the health care professionals in all those sixteen (16) researches. Therefore, the statements that were produced were organized in three discourses: the biological discourse together with the medical discourse; the biological discourse together with the intelligible gender; and the biological discourse together with the social predicates. Thus, these statements were presented and discussed from these discourses. These discourses go to the same point: the normalization of those subjects with the main goal to make all of them to be framed in the binary pattern of gender, as it is not possible to live without being framed in one of these categories. The data produced in this dissertation provides understanding about the intersexuality as well as the sexual designation, which brings some kind of restriction on what concerns the binary gender identity of man-woman. Like this, all those who deviate from this norm will be submitted to procedures of correction, such as surgeries of correction, sexual reassignment and hormone therapy.
